Why a post hasn't gone out yet
A queued post waits for posting hours, the gap since the last post, daily caps, a paused switch or a product for you to pick, and is checked every 5 minutes.
A post you scheduled or that EverySqueeze queued automatically shows a reason it's waiting, right on its card. The poller that releases queued posts runs every 5 minutes, so a post that clears everything below goes out within a few minutes of becoming eligible.
Check these in order
- Posting hours. A post can't go out outside your saved posting window. If the reason mentions your posting hours, it releases once the window opens — see Posting hours.
- Spacing. Posts on the same platform go out at least 45 minutes apart, or further apart if you set Space posts at least; if the platform posted recently, the post waits for its planned time — see Spacing between posts.
- Daily limit. Every post on a platform counts toward its posts-per-day limit (YouTube at most 5 a day; new accounts start at YouTube 5, Facebook 5, Instagram 5, Pinterest 2; an older account keeps 4 unless it changed it; 10 at most unless you confirmed more). If today's is used up, the post waits until the day rolls over in your saved time zone — see Daily limits.
- Automatic posting is paused. If Settings → Posting schedule is set to Pause automatic posting, the post waits for you to post it yourself or for you to resume — see The automatic posting switch.
- Waiting for a product. With Careful chosen under When we’re not sure of the product (Settings → Posting schedule), an automatic post whose Amazon product EverySqueeze isn't sure of waits for your OK on the match (or your pick, where no match was found), so it never goes out without your link (a sure match posts with the link on its own). With Balanced or Always link a new video's Facebook post or pin can wait up to 2 hours for you first. Click Confirm product on the post in Schedule (or Pick product when no match was found), or use Confirm products in Composer — see When EverySqueeze asks before it posts.
- Waiting for the HD version (up to 1 hour). A brand-new video waits for TikTok's 1080p version, at most until it is an hour old; a post waiting for its product waits for that first — see Why a queued post is waiting.
- In line behind earlier posts. Even with nothing blocking it, a post only releases in order behind other posts waiting on the same platform.
- Auto-post is off for that platform. An automatic post queued before you switched auto-post off waits for your choice: Post anyway or Cancel — see Automatic posts waiting because auto-post is off.
- Trying again after a failed try. A try that failed for a passing reason is retried after 5 minutes, then 30 minutes, then 2 hours; the post says which try it was and when the next one is — see Failed posts.
A post that moved
A post you set a time for keeps it, unless that time can't work when it comes due: outside your posting hours, on a day already at its daily limit, or after YouTube's daily limit. Then EverySqueeze moves it to the next open slot (spread evenly with your other posts, in the same order) and tells you on the post, in the bell and with a phone notification: Moved from … to … because …. Press OK on the note once you've seen it.
Still stuck?
If a post has been waiting well beyond what its reason explains, use Report a problem (in Pip's menu or the Help button) so it can be looked at directly.
