Posting hours and time zone

Sets the window of hours, in your saved time zone, that automatic and queued posts are allowed to go out in.

Settings → Posting schedule shows your Posting hours card. Press Edit and the editor opens inside the card; the Schedule tab's calendar shows the same hours and can edit them too. (The older layout has an Edit hours in Schedule link instead.)

The editor has a from time, an until time, a Time zone picker and Save. Leaving either time set to off means any time — no window is enforced on that side. Posting hours and daily limits are both measured in the time zone you pick here, which may be different from your device's own time zone.

Everything EverySqueeze posts for you goes out inside these hours, spread evenly across them. When you change your hours (or your time zone), the posts EverySqueeze planned for you are spread out again inside the new hours right away, in the same order.

A post you scheduled for a set time keeps it. If that time falls outside your hours when it comes due (because you changed them), EverySqueeze does not hold it until the window opens and then send it in a bunch with others; it moves it to the next open slot, spread evenly with your other posts, and tells you on the Schedule, in the bell and with a phone notification: Moved from … to … because it was outside your posting hours.

When you schedule a post and choose Pick a time… (in Composer that choice sits on the video's card, right after you choose Schedule), the picker shows your posting hours and won't accept a time outside them: it says the time is outside your posting hours and names them, so pick a time inside them or change your hours first. On a computer you type the date and time (for example 10/3 and 9:30 pm) and the line under the fields reads back what it understood; on a phone you get your phone's own date and time picker. If a time outside your hours reaches the schedule another way, EverySqueeze moves it to the next time your hours open and tells you it did.
