When EverySqueeze asks before it posts
What an automatic post does when we aren't sure of its product: wait for you, post without the link, or add our best match. You choose.
When it's an automatic post's turn to go out, EverySqueeze adds your Amazon link automatically when it's sure of the product: you picked it, the match is strong, it's the same Amazon listing in another colour or size (the link opens our best guess, and the shopper can switch), or the photo check agrees. What happens when it isn't sure is your choice in Settings → Posting schedule, under When we’re not sure of the product (on the computer and the phone): Careful, Balanced or Always link. With Careful it holds that post instead of posting it without your link, and it moves on to the next video that will carry your link. The held post keeps its place, doesn't count as a failed attempt, and goes out on its next turn once you confirm the product.
The bell says how many matches are waiting for your OK (and how many videos need you to pick their product, where we found no match), with a button to the Confirm products screen, and the Schedule shows the post as waiting for you to confirm its Amazon product, with a Confirm product button right there (Pick product when no match was found): your answer saves the product and the post goes out with your link on its next turn. A video you marked as not on Amazon isn't held: it posts without a link, as you chose.
An older video with no product at all, posted by the older-videos drip, isn't held either: there is nothing to confirm, so it posts without a link. Turn off Include videos without a product in Settings → Posting schedule to keep those out (see Older videos per day).
Balanced
With Balanced, nothing is held. A new video's Facebook post or pin waits up to 2 hours and sends you one phone notification: "A post is about to go out without a product link" for Facebook, "A pin is waiting for a product" for Pinterest. If you don't pick the product in time, the Facebook post goes out without a link and the pin is skipped, since a pin needs a product. Instagram, YouTube and older videos go out without the link on their turn. The bell lists the Facebook and Instagram posts that went out without a link for 3 days.
Always link
Always link works like Balanced, except that a match we found but couldn't prove is added anyway, so the post goes out on time with it. It can be the wrong product, so check your posts. A match our checks say is probably a different product, and one only other creators suggested, are still never added: those posts go out without a link, the Balanced way. With this choice a post you make yourself gets that match without being asked, too.
New accounts start on Always link. An account that never chose is on Always link too; you can fix or remove any link in Posts, or pick Careful or Balanced here. An account that chose keeps its choice, and one that had the older on/off switch keeps it: off is Careful, on is Balanced.
