Daily limits (posts per day)
How many posts EverySqueeze sends to each platform per day: 1 to 10 recommended, up to 20 with a warning (YouTube 5), counting every post.
Settings → Posting schedule has a "Posts per day" card with one number per platform, and each platform's settings (click its card in Settings → Accounts & platforms) has the same setting (either place changes it): how many posts EverySqueeze may send to that platform in one day: 1 to 10 is recommended, and Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest can go up to 20.
Starting out? A new account starts with YouTube 5, Facebook 5, Instagram 5 and Pinterest 2 a day, spaced for you automatically; change any of them whenever you like. Accounts that already existed keep the numbers they had (4 a day on any platform you never changed). Posts you make yourself count toward these limits too: Post now and Schedule in Composer on the desktop, and a platform button on a post's card in the phone app.
It counts every post on that platform that day — new TikToks posted automatically, older videos from the backlog, scheduled posts and ones you post now.
Older videos count too
Older videos are part of Posts per day, never extra. Older videos per day (the Post older videos card, "How many per day") is the most of the day's posts that may be older videos, counted across Facebook and Instagram together (an older video that goes to both uses two). Example: Facebook is set to 5 posts per day and older videos to 3. On a day when 2 new TikToks post, 3 older videos post too and Facebook reaches 5, so it is full. On a day with no new TikToks, 3 older videos post and the drip stops there. Either way Facebook never gets more than 5. See Older videos per day.
Your day
The day is your day, in your saved time zone. The limit is kept while auto-posting is off for a platform, so it is ready when you turn it back on.
More than 10 a day
Above 10, the choices read (above recommended), and the first time you pick one for a platform EverySqueeze asks you to confirm: more than 10 a day can shrink each post's reach and look spammy to Facebook and Instagram. Press I understand to save it (you confirm once per platform; it is kept with the setting), or Keep my number to leave it as it was. While the number is above 10, a note under it says Higher than recommended, about how far apart the posts will land inside your posting hours, and, when your videos can't fill it, roughly how many you will really average a day (new TikToks plus the older-video drip), with a pointer to Older videos per day to fill more.
YouTube stays at up to 5 a day: EverySqueeze's YouTube uploads share Google's daily upload quota across every creator (100 uploads a day for the whole app), and each account gets at most 5 of them, so YouTube cannot be set higher. If you had it set above 5, it now reads 5 and your scheduled YouTube posts were spread out at 5 a day for you; nothing was removed.
The most a platform can get in one day, even with Post now, is 10, or your own confirmed number when it is above 10 (up to 20). YouTube's most is 5.
Next to it, Space Facebook posts at least (and the same for each platform) sets the minimum spacing between that platform's posts; see Spacing between posts. If the number a day doesn't fit that spacing inside your posting hours, Settings and the Schedule say so and the extra posts go out the next day.
When the limit is reached
Further posts for that platform wait in the queue and go out on a later day, spread evenly inside your posting hours — nothing is dropped. The wait reason on the post says it is waiting for that platform's daily capacity.
When you change the limit
Posts EverySqueeze planned for you are spread out again as soon as you save a new number: lower it and some move to later days, raise it and later ones move up, always evenly across your posting hours and in the same order. A post you set a time for yourself keeps that time. If its day turns out to be full when it comes due, it moves to the next open slot, and the Schedule, the bell and a phone notification tell you where it went (Moved from … to … because that day already had …'s daily limit of posts).
When you schedule a post and the day is already full, EverySqueeze says so right away instead of quietly moving it, for example YouTube is full for today (5/5, your daily limit), next open slot tomorrow 9:00am. Only on the older schedule (rare)
Almost every account has Posts per day, described above; use that unless your own Settings shows something else. Only a workspace still on the older schedule sees "New automatic posts per day" instead (0–48, or Unlimited). That limit counts only automatically posted new videos, and Pinterest's ceiling there is 20 pins a day.
