Composer on your phone? What the phone app can and can't do
The phone app has no Composer and no Post everywhere; you post new TikToks from their cards in Posts, and cross-post any other video in desktop Composer.
The phone app has no Composer: no Composer tab, no Composer button and no Post everywhere button. Its tabs are Posts, Schedule, Earnings and Pip; Settings is the cog at the top right.
What you can do on the phone
- Post a new TikTok from its card in Posts: under Choose where to post there is one button per connected platform, so you post it one platform at a time (or switch the card to Schedule).
- Change its Amazon product, caption and link from the same card.
- See and manage scheduled posts in Schedule.
- Check your earnings, and ask Pip.
What needs the desktop dashboard
- Cross-posting any video by hand, including older videos that are not in Posts.
- Post everywhere: sending one video to every platform at once.
- Searching your videos, Coverage and the Library.
All of that is in Composer (and Coverage, Library) on the desktop dashboard.
Getting to the desktop dashboard from your phone
The phone app has no Composer tab and no Post everywhere button, so for those open the desktop dashboard. Tap the cog, choose Account and device, then tap Open desktop version at the bottom, and open Composer. In the iPhone App Store app it opens in a browser window, which may ask you to sign in. The phone remembers the choice; the dashboard's Mobile app item switches back. On a computer, just sign in at everysqueeze.com.
