Confirm or reject a match
How to answer a likely or possible cross-post cell in Coverage.
A ? cell in Coverage is a match the system isn't fully sure about — a likely match with some evidence, or a possible cross-post it found but couldn't corroborate. A guess like this reads Maybe already on Facebook — check (or Instagram, YouTube). Click the cell to open the comparison.
A maybe is a question, not a post: it doesn't count as posted and it never stops EverySqueeze from posting the video there, by hand or automatically. Only a post EverySqueeze published, a match that agrees on both the length and the product, or your own confirmation counts as posted.
What you'll see
The sheet shows your original video next to the post it's comparing it to, side by side, so you can look at both before deciding.
Answering it
- Confirm (on a maybe) or Yes, that's mine — records it as posted on that platform. Coverage updates immediately and the row then reads Found on your Page (you posted this).
- Not a match — clears the guess. It stays cleared through future scans, so the same wrong guess won't come back.
If a scheduled post to that platform failed because of this guess (its reason says it is probably already on that platform), Not a match also puts that post back in the queue, and a message says so. See Failed posts.
Your answer sticks: an automatic matching pass running at the same moment can't put the old guess back.
If EverySqueeze already tried to publish there and the outcome wasn't confirmed, the buttons read It's there / Checked — not posted instead, and posting to that platform is held until you answer.
Reviewing several at once
Review N possible matches above the grid opens them one at a time under the question Is this the same video?, strongest evidence first, such as the same caption and the same length. The other post shows its cover when one was saved, and always what is known about it: when it was posted, its length and its views, with Open on Facebook (or Instagram, YouTube) to look at it. The VA keyboard keys (Y, N, S, U and the arrow keys) are behind the i next to the button. Under each pair a short line says why it was suggested: the two lengths, how far apart they were posted, and any product words the two captions share.
Weak guesses are left out. A post that is only the same length and went up around the same time, with nothing else in common, is no longer suggested, and a guess with nothing else to back it up stays a plain gap. You can still mark any of those posts yourself from its cell.
A match also has to agree on the product. A post whose caption names a different product (for example a call to comment FLASHLIGHT on a knife video), or a Facebook feed copy of a reel that's a different length, is not treated as a match.
On your phone
Reviewing possible matches is on the desktop dashboard. The mobile app has no Coverage screen.
Changing your mind
Rejecting a guess doesn't delete the video or the cell — the column still shows a gap you can act on later, including confirming a post there yourself if you find it. Nothing about the rest of your Coverage data changes when you answer one cell.
