Your Amazon tracking IDs
Set a default Amazon tracking ID, plus optional overrides per platform, in Settings → Amazon.
Set or change your Amazon tracking ID in Settings → Amazon, under Your Amazon tracking IDs. It's the Amazon Associates Store ID stamped onto every link EverySqueeze builds, for example yourname-20.
In the mobile app
Open Settings (the cog), go to Accounts and platforms and scroll to Amazon tracking IDs. Type your ID in the Default box and tap Save; Use a different ID per platform opens a box per platform, saved with Save platform IDs. It is the same saved ID the dashboard uses. Where to find it
In Amazon Associates Central, click your account name at the top right, then Manage Tracking IDs; it looks like yourname-20. It starts with a letter or number and can have letters, numbers, hyphens, dots and underscores, so your.name-20 works too. Not sure which Amazon account you need? See Which Amazon account do I need?. A whole product link that contains tag=yourname-20 can be pasted too: the box keeps only the part after tag=. A storefront link (amazon.com/shop/…) or an amzn.to link has nothing to keep, and the box says so. In setup, tapping the grey button says what is missing.
In setup, a short note under the box says where your link goes: it is added to your Facebook, YouTube and Pinterest posts (only platforms you connected and where links are on are named). For Instagram videos, add the product with Add products on Instagram.
Default, plus per-platform overrides
Default is required and covers every link unless a platform below overrides it. You can also set a separate ID for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest — leave any of them blank to fall back to your default. Splitting them lets each platform's earnings show up separately in your own Amazon reports; sharing one ID collapses everything into a single number.
If nothing is set
A link with no default and no fallback goes out untagged — a warning in the editor shows "nothing set — your links go out untagged" so you can catch it. Posts EverySqueeze makes for you work the other way: until an ID is saved they go out without an Amazon link at all, rather than an untagged one.
After you change it
Posts already scheduled use the new ID when they go out; you don't need to delete or reschedule them (one YouTube exception, and Settings tells you after a save if you have one). Live links that start with everysqueeze.com/r/ switch to the new ID too; live links that start with amazon.com keep the old one. The details, link by link: Changing your tracking ID.
