Post failed after four tries

A queued post failed four times, minutes to hours apart, and moved to your failed list instead of disappearing silently.

The scheduler stopped trying to send this post. or Posting failed

What it means

This is the generic message EverySqueeze shows when a queued post failed for a reason that doesn't have a more specific explanation of its own. EverySqueeze tries a failed post four times, waiting 5 minutes, then 30 minutes, then 2 hours between tries; after the fourth it stops retrying and moves the post to your failed list instead of leaving it stuck in the queue or dropping it without a trace. The bell and a phone notification tell you.

What to do

  1. Open Needs attention on the Schedule tab and tap the row with this reason to see the post and its error.
  2. Fix whatever caused it (a broken connection, a caption problem, and so on) if the reason is shown.
  3. Press Retry on the failed post once the underlying issue is fixed: it goes back in the queue with the same caption. If you don't want it, press Dismiss.

Nothing is lost

The post, its caption, and its video are kept, not deleted. A failed post leaves the list 7 days after it failed (or when you dismiss or retry it), with a countdown on its calendar card and a bell reminder in its last day, and stays in the dismissed or cleared failed posts row. See Failed posts for where to find and act on them.
