Daily matching limit reached
EverySqueeze's Amazon product search or matching has hit its daily limit and resets automatically — you can still paste a link yourself.
You've hit today's product-search limit. It resets at … or Today's product-search capacity is used up app-wide. It resets at …
What it means
Amazon product matching and search each run against their own daily allowance. Once a batch match or a manual search uses up your workspace's share for the day, further attempts of that kind wait until it resets. There is also one daily ceiling shared by everyone on EverySqueeze; if that is used up, the message says the capacity is used up app-wide instead. Either way the message shows the time it resets in your local time. This protects the search from being used faster than the underlying provider allows.
What to do
- Wait — the message tells you when it resets, and matching resumes automatically from there.
- In the meantime, you can still paste the Amazon link directly for a video instead of searching.
- If this keeps happening on ordinary volume, check How product matching works for how matching runs, or see A video shows the wrong product if the concern is accuracy rather than volume.
A different message: lookups are busy
If the message says Amazon lookups are busy right now, that is not this limit. The search is only waiting its turn and EverySqueeze runs it by itself: see Amazon lookups are busy.
Nothing is lost
Videos waiting on a match stay in your library and pick up matching again once the limit resets. Nothing is skipped permanently.
