Assistant trust switches
The switches that set what your assistant can do without asking you, and how many videos they can post per day.
VA mode → Settings has a card, What your assistant may do (it carries their name), with four switches. Each line under a switch says what happens while it is on. A new assistant starts with the first three on and Custom links and video Auto DM off. An assistant invited before October 5, 2026 keeps what they had. You can change any of them at any time, and each saves by itself. (The older layout calls the first two Let my assistant post without asking me and Let my assistant cancel scheduled posts without asking me, under Without asking you.)
Post without asking me
Off, their first posts wait for your OK. How many is the number right under the switch, Posts that wait for my OK first. Once that many of their posts have gone out, the rest post on their own (within the per-day limit and your posting hours): it is a ramp for a new assistant, not a permanent hold, and it does not start over each day. On, everything they schedule goes out at its time and that number is not used. You still see every post in VA mode's activity list.
Cancel scheduled posts without asking me
Off, they can't cancel a post that's waiting for your approval or one you already approved.
On, they can cancel any scheduled post that hasn't gone out yet, including ones waiting for you or ones you've approved.
Fix product matches and Coverage
On, they can check or change a video's product and mark Coverage; a match they check reads as checked by them. Off, they can schedule and post, and product matches and Coverage are read-only for them. (The older layout shows this as a Scope choice with the same two settings.)
Custom links and video Auto DM
Off (the default), a video's or product's custom link and its own Auto DM stay with you. Your assistant can open My link and Auto DM and see what is set, with This is managed by the account owner. in place of Save.
On, they can set, change or remove a custom link for a video or for every video of a product, and write a video's or product's own Auto DM message and trigger words. Each change shows in VA mode's activity list, marked Flagged. It never lets them change tracking IDs, connections, billing or your account. (The older layout calls it Let my assistant set custom links and video Auto DM.)
Your usual Auto DM settings (on or off, trigger words, the message, the Comment LINK line) are not part of this switch: an assistant can already change those, and each change is flagged.
Videos your assistant can post per day
This is your limit for them (10 unless you change it, up to 200): how many videos your assistant can have going out on any one day, counting both scheduled posts and Post now. It was called Daily post cap. A video counts once for its day however many platforms it goes to, so one video sent to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Pinterest uses one of the ten. It counts each video on the day it's set to go out, not the day your assistant scheduled it, so they can schedule a whole week in one sitting. Days follow the time zone in your posting schedule. When a day is full, a post scheduled for the next open slot moves to the next day with room; a post your assistant picked a time for on a full day is refused, and they are told how many videos a day you let them post. A cancelled video still counts toward its day. To let them post more, raise the number; the card shows how many are used today and how many are left.
