Confirming your sign-in email

The email you use to sign in on another device — confirm it once during setup and check it any time in Settings.

"Confirm your sign-in email" is the step during setup that sets the email you'll use to sign in from your phone or another computer.

How it works

Enter your address and send a confirmation — you don't need to come back and click anything else once it's sent, because the page checks automatically once you tap Confirm in the email. There's also a "Check confirmation" button if you'd rather check by hand. If the email couldn't be delivered, EverySqueeze tells you so and lets you try a different address.

Checking it

Once confirmed, Settings → Account and device shows the email your account is anchored to. Until then, Sign-in and recovery there says Not confirmed yet, with Resend confirmation and a Check confirmation link.

Didn't get it?

Check junk or spam first — it's the most common reason, and it can take a minute or two either way. If it still hasn't arrived, double-check the address is spelled right and send the confirmation again.

Changing it later

There's no separate edit field once an email is confirmed. If you need to change it, use Report a problem (in Pip's menu or the Help button) and support can help.

Open it in EverySqueeze

Signed in, this article opens in the app’s Help center, with a button straight to Account and device.
